The Crystal City™ ©

Imagine a city nestled in between a large protected coast line of clear abundant waters and an array of rolling hillside. Within 10 kilometers of the city is the ocean on one side and the country and natural bush land on the other. The surrounding hills are full of white rock crystal, iron ore and bluestone right down through to the plains of the city. Where the ocean meets the shore more clear crystal quartz dances alongside the ocean's edge on white sandy beaches.

The entire city rests on a gridline line of clear crystal quartz, the planets greatest “natural” amplifier of energy transmissions. At night the city lights dazzle and twinkle like stars under a blanket of darkness. At dawn the sun resplendently rises in the east over the hilltops, melting into the ocean in the west at dusk.

The people of this city are presented with a lush, easy going, cosmopolitan lifestyle and have been drawn here from all corners of the earth, creating a melting pot of ideas and cultures. This city is eclectic and artistic producing souls who have made vast impacts on the world stage.

This glorious location description for a city sounds and feels quite idealic and blissful and indeed it is, if this is what you believe. However, if you feel otherwise, then this is exactly what this city will deliver to you. For you see this city is built on a bed of crystalline energy. This crystalline energy will amplify any and all inner thoughts whether they be positive or negative. This city is my hometown and it is “Adelaide” in South Australia.

I have lived in Adelaide for most of my life only spending short stints away living and traveling overseas. Despite the fact that technically this city has everything a person could want all affordable and within easy reach, there has always been an uneasy edge to living here that so many others share and this edge continues to draw people here in ever increasing numbers whether they realise it or not.

I've had the conversation with so many of my fellow “Adelaidians” over the years of “What is it about Adelaide that seems to just bring up people's stuff more than any other place?”. I know people that have been born in places like India, Iran, Israel and England who have ended up in Adelaide drawn here by work or relationships and then finding themselves seemingly “stuck” here with so many of their shadow issues or parts being exposed and amplified ten fold.

For so long I have sort out a reason for this magnetic pull of Adelaide and why so many people bag this city extensively, looking for a way out. It was only recently that it “clicked” with me what is geographically and metaphysically going on here, whilst I was at a local gem and mineral fair in the Adelaide hills.

I've have been aware for years of the rich mineral deposits throughout the Adelaide region, particularly white crystal quartz. I also have known that an ancient fault line runs through this state and that the Flinders Ranges host point “44” (the number of angelic hosts) on the world energy grid, in alignment with Uluru the “heart” chakra of the planet. This is actually a very “spiritual” place energetically speaking, so why do so many people feel uncomfortable with their lives whilst living here?
Adelaide is the kind of place that helps you to “wake up”. This is the power of crystal quartz. The quartz structure of Adelaide amplifies all thought and the energy field permeating and surrounding all matter and all dimensions. So if you come here feeling like it is a nice place to lay low and hide (yet internally wishing you could do the exact opposite) then your internal thought pattern will be amplified here on maximum charge. Your spiritual self will be illuminated here through the power of the crystal energy drawing it out of you. Now what you do with that information is crucial in determining how much you enjoy living here or feel like running away.

A well known Sydney Healer (who is originally from Adelaide) once said to me that she thought Adelaide was a place where you either move away from or go to die. At the time I thought her words quite perplexing but maybe on a deeper level she is right. If you can surrender your ego (die) and let your soul self find its way in Adelaide (where one's demons are brought up very easily) then you can sustain yourself anywhere in the galaxy. It's like if you can pass your stint in Adelaide with flying colours then you can do it anywhere. What a testing ground it is.

I see Adelaide as a draw card for souls wanting to clear through centuries of karma in their current lifetimes. The challenge here is realising this and working with the fears which will come out of you to be transmuted and replaced with a passion for growing and learning through fun and patience. Adelaide is a mecca for personal healing.

We don't have a huge city where your every waking moment can be taken up with activities to get preoccupied with the doing side of life. So many people have commented on what a “big country town” this is. That is wonderful! You do get the opportunity to look at your life here and what direction it is taking and what is its true meaning that you may not be privy to in other faster paced cities.

I've always said you can run away from the place or situation but you can never run away from yourself. So I have stuck with Adelaide even though it has been very hard at times looking at those parts of myself that I have judged as negative or lack lustre. But if I had run away I wouldn't have had the opportunity to grow and become wise anywhere else as fully I have here and I truly believe that.

There is wonderful opportunity amongst the growing number of people who are waking up form their spiritual slumber to honour their true selves and move through life with ease and joy using Adelaide as their base. With the amplification properties of the crystals we live on we can send out untold positive vibrations to the planet and endless universes surrounding us.

It is my desire that you see Adelaide for the wonderful healing piece of earth that it is and with this knowledge dissolve your blocks and challenges and project out your true self in shining display to the world. Ask the earth to help you by spending time outdoors, at the ocean or surrounding hillsides and really feel the crystal energy cleaning your field and allowing you to gain you spiritual strength and vision in this ancient land. I feel honoured and lucky to have chosen Adelaide as my birthplace and current home and I thank it for the endless gifts of insight that it presents to me and all my fellow travelers.
